Blogs have always been a way for me to see the world beyond what I personally experience, whether it's to learn about how others view the world or to silently learn about a topic of interest.
I've made multiple attempts at starting up a blog but none have taken. I'm not a professional writer (so don't expect perfectly put together posts with flawless grammar and fabulous photos) but I'll take a shot at making sure you understand what I'm getting at. I won't put a restriction on the themes covered by this blog, but the CURRENT ME loves traveling, enjoys food, seeks new experiences and learns new things, so you're probably going to be reading a lot about those. I'm opinionated about a lot of inconsequential things, so those will most likely be featured in the blog somewhere along the way.
Why "In Motion"?
Life is always more comfortable where we are. Even if we're living a sh*tty life, the mere predictability of it makes it less frightening than the unknown. Ever heard of the saying "Why fix what isn't broken?" I clearly subscribed to that idea more than a decade ago, judgmental of how some people would just complain for the sake of complaining or oppose just for the sake of opposing, even though what's in front of them is a viable (perhaps even superb) idea. I'm not saying that I've been completely converted into a rebel, but today, I believe in giving ideas a chance, in seeing whether these ideas can bring us somewhere better because the worst case scenario is that ideas fail, and we are able to appreciate what we currently have more.
Standing where I am. To live my life day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, in the same way would be the biggest disservice to the human experience. To move physically, in my heart and in my mind... that is what I'm going for.
